Grief Unbound: A support group for those coping with the loss of loved ones due to addiction.

In this support group we address the complex needs of those suffering from the loss of a loved one who struggled with addiction. The mixed emotions that often surface in this particular situation intensify the grieving process. The stigma around addiction and the negative feelings that may be connected to our loved one can make the experience seem impossible to endure. Understanding that we are not alone in this tumultuous and painful experience is essential. Death from overdosing has become one of the leading causes of death in the country. The many people suffering from these losses are not alone in their pain.
